It all started with a visit to Anderson. Read Daisy’s journey, written in her own words.
Education is for all and is the key to success. As a dreamer, I worked hard and prayed hard to the Lord to grant my wish to come to Canada, which we call “a greener pasture” back home.
Being an immigrant, I worked as a nanny for two years before I was able to apply for permanent residency in Canada. Thankfully, it was granted in a short period of time. Hungry for opportunities, I kept searching for the best school. I wanted to become a policewoman, which had been my first career choice back home in the Philippines, but sadly we didn’t have enough money to sustain the expenses for the course at the time.

I’m very thankful to God that I studied at Anderson College. The teachers and staff gave us good education, strong values, confidence, and met all our needs. I cherish every moment that I spent here. To all my teachers in the Police Foundation/Law Enforcement program, thank you for giving your best and for igniting a spark for knowledge which will stay with us for a lifetime. The carefree moments we shared with our friends here is something I will always cherish. We are blessed to be here thanks to God. Nothing is impossible in this world if you put God first in everything you do.
