At Anderson College, we are proud to host many international students who enjoy a vibrant and enriching experience with us. Students choose Anderson for a wide variety of reasons that contribute to their personal and professional growth.
However, if your goal is to obtain a Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP), it’s important to note that international students graduating from Career Colleges, including Anderson College, are not currently eligible for PGWPs. While we sincerely hope this policy changes in the future, we recommend that students seeking a PGWP explore options at publicly funded colleges.
Our students come to us from all corners of the globe and each has a unique story to tell. We celebrate their individuality and support them as they strive to overcome challenges and create a better life for themselves and their families. Within our community, we build a culture of equality and care. International students join us for various other reasons outside of receiving a PGWP. We are the right fit for you if you are looking for the following:

Your International Student Advisor can help you get in touch with ethnic clubs and associations for you to join. Even with Canada’s high standards, the cost of living and tuition for international students is less than that in many other countries.
