Career Change to Early Childhood Education: Finding Her Path

I am a proud Early Childcare Assistant (ECA) graduate from Anderson College’s Mississauga-Dundas campus. I’m thrilled to share my life-changing journey with Anderson College. After being a housewife and mother for many years, Anderson College helped me become an independent and confident professional.

First of all, the administrative staff was incredibly supportive and accessible. They guided me through the admission procedures, OSAP details, and course information step by step, with each department offering personal guidance. My husband was also very supportive throughout this journey.

Early Childhood Assistant Program: A Supportive Learning Experience

Once the course started, my instructor, Ms. Zeynab, made a significant impact. She is a wonderful teacher with so much to offer. She made the classes so engaging and interesting that I never considered missing a single one. Tests were never as enjoyable as they were with Ms. Zeynab.

Benefits of Childcare Career: From Practicum to Career Success

The best part of the course was the practicum. I completed two practicums, where we were assigned to practical workplaces to apply what we had learned in real-life scenarios. This experience was incredibly encouraging and helpful as we prepared to enter our professional lives.

I was fortunate to be hired at the same place where I did my practicum, and most of my classmates received job offers even before we graduated.
I would like to thank all the staff members at Anderson College’s Mississauga-Dundas campus for their support and encouragement. It’s never too late to start a career; you just need the right guidance.
