I chose Anderson College over other options, and it has positively impacted my life, including setting an example for my children. By pursuing higher education, I feel that I have become more intelligent and self-aware.
“I enrolled in the Child and Youth Care with Addictions Support Worker (CYC) program because I am passionate about helping children through difficult times and wanted to develop my skills in this area.”
After researching various colleges, I decided on Anderson College based on its positive reviews and reputation. Frustrated with unsuccessful job interviews, I decided to make a change in my life and go for a career instead. Driving by the school numerous times, seeing the Anderson College’s sign, is what made me call. I enrolled in the Child and Youth Care with Addictions Support Worker (CYC) program because I am passionate about helping children through difficult times and wanted to develop my skills in this area.
I also believe that obtaining a college education sets a great example for my children. By going back to school to complete my grade twelve and now pursuing higher education, I demonstrate the value of education and the importance of working towards goals, even when it’s challenging.
“The CYC program has provided me with valuable strategies and insights on how to support children and families.”
