What You Need to Know in 30 Seconds
The Medical Esthetician Diploma at Anderson College is a 66-week, on-campus program that trains students in advanced, non-invasive skincare and medical esthetics. The program blends theoretical learning with hands-on training in our state-of-the-art simulated spa, and culminates in a 4-week practicum with potential employers.
The curriculum covers advanced skincare and facial treatments (deep cleansing, exfoliation, customized facials, skin tightening, rejuvenation, and resurfacing), beauty enhancements and makeup artistry (day/evening/corrective makeup, lash and brow tinting, shaping, and extensions, remedial makeup, camouflage techniques), laser and hair removal techniques, tattoo removal, body treatments and spa wellness, and the use of industry technology — IPL and NAFL lasers, radiofrequency, microdermabrasion, and facial devices. Students also study salon and spa business operations, client consultations, ethics, and professionalism.
Classes are small, taught by instructors with medical esthetics expertise, and backed by Anderson's 140+ year track record of student-centred support. Career services — resume building, interview preparation, and job-fair access — are available for life, with alumni-network access for ongoing growth. Financial Assistance may be available to those who qualify; our Admissions team is happy to walk through the options.
