The Immigration Consultant program is accredited by the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC). This program is all about teaching students how to represent clients applying to immigration, refugees and citizenship entry into Canada, as well as representing clients before the immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. This program ensures students can provide legal advice to their clients, prepare applications, represent individuals in proceedings and negotiate on behalf of their clients. Some of the subjects covered in the curriculum program include Family Unification, Refugee Protection, Canadian Immigration Laws and Policies, Client Care, Administrative Law, Business Communication, Economics, and Employment Success Strategies.
Anderson College prepares our students for the real world in this program by organizing mock hearings and mock trials, working on real-life immigration cases, and providing practice tests similar to the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) exam. This program gets our students’ careers as an immigration consultant, International Immigration Student Advisor, Immigration Policy Analyst, Immigration Specialist, Immigration Services Coordinator, and other Immigration related roles.
