The Path

Anderson College’s leading-edge Cardiology Technology program is accredited by Accreditation Canada’s EQual program and has a track record of graduates being highly skilled and in demand. Our program is 76 weeks and includes a 16-week hands-on practicum training with potential employers at clinics and hospitals and provides students with the fundamental theoretical knowledge and skills required to be successful. Classes are taught by industry experts, who lend their real-life experience and learnings to your educational experience.

To cultivate and support an experience and environment that paves the way for students to:

  • Exceed industry standards for theoretical knowledge and practical skill sets.
  • Challenge and surpass expectations on the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologist National Occupational Competency Profile Exam and qualify for CSCT and provincial membership.
  • Secure employment as an entry level cardiology technologist.

Most diploma programs run 24–58 weeks of full-time study, depending on the discipline. Healthcare programs (PSW, Cardiology, MOA, Dental Assistant) typically include a clinical or work placement so you graduate job-ready.
