You’ve held a dream for months, weeks or years. Perhaps you’ve had to leave parents, children, even your partner behind as you build a life for those you love in a new country. Undoubtedly, you left a life, maybe even a career you loved, to a make new way in the name of peace and freedom. You’ve faced the unique challenges that come with being new to Canada – learning a new language, a culture strange from your own. You’ve known worry and fear in moments that some will never understand, but you also possess a tenacity, courage and heartfelt strength few have had to conjure either. You are the very student, the very person upon whom Canada was built – beautifully diverse and strong of spirit.

In the process of immigration, you may have faced, or do face, moments of loneliness, but rest assured … you are not alone.

How long does it take to complete a program at Anderson College?
Most diploma programs run 24–58 weeks of full-time study, depending on the discipline. Healthcare programs (PSW, Cardiology, MOA, Dental Assistant) typically include a clinical or work placement so you graduate job-ready.
What financial aid options are available?
We accept OSAP (Ontario), Better Jobs Ontario, Windmill Microlending, in-house Alumni and PSW bursaries, and traditional student lines of credit through major banks. Visit our Financial Aid page for the full list and to chat with a Financial Aid Advisor.
Are international students welcome?
Yes. Anderson College is a DLI-approved Career College registered with the Ministry of Colleges and Universities. Programs marked as PGWP-eligible qualify for a Post-Graduation Work Permit. See our International Students page for visa support details.
