You will maintain inventory and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, as prescription orders in a hospital are numerous and ongoing.

Assisted Living Facilities

As a pharmacy assistant in an assisted living or long-term care facility, you will support a pharmacist or pharmacy technician as they counsel patients and make recommendations to doctors based on patient history and the ideal treatment plan. Your job will be to help fulfil prescriptions, keep inventory stocked and organized and ensure patient information and files are in order.
