At 38 years old, married with three children, I spent nearly a decade as a full-time mother. When my youngest started school, I felt the need to rediscover myself beyond motherhood and contribute to my family in a new way. This led me to Anderson College, where I chose the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant (PTA/OTA) program.

“Returning to school after so many years was daunting, but the supportive environment at Anderson College reassured me.”

Returning to school after so many years was daunting, but the supportive environment at Anderson College reassured me. The staff and faculty understood my unique situation and encouraged me to push past self-doubt. The hands-on training and real-world experience prepared me to step back into the workforce confidently.

My family, especially my spouse, provided immense support throughout my studies. Their belief in me kept me motivated, even during the most challenging times.

“Anderson College didn’t just open doors for my career; it gave me a community of professionals and a renewed sense of purpose.”

The most rewarding moment was being hired at the clinic where I completed my practicum. This opportunity validated everything I had learned and demonstrated the quality of education I received at Anderson College.

Anderson College didn’t just open doors for my career; it gave me a community of professionals and a renewed sense of purpose. My advice to others is to believe in yourself and trust the process. With determination and the right support, you can achieve more than you ever imagined. Anderson College showed me that it’s never too late to pursue your dreams.
