Clinic Receptionist

As you greet and interact with patients in this role, you set the tone for the energy of the office in which you work. As the organizer on the front line and behind the scenes, as you answer the phones, organize appointments, schedules and emails, process payments, order supplies and organize files, you ensure all is efficiently running. Your customer service skills and ability to keep the team informed are key to success. For those passionate about working as part of a dynamic, caring team and supporting patients day-to-day, this is the perfect fit.

In this position you could be hired for work by any number of healthcare practitioners, from doctors, dentists, and physiotherapists to chiropractors.

Medical Transcriptionist

If you’re more of a techie and prefer working behind the scenes, relaying essential information to your team, this position may be a terrific fit for you. In this role you are focused on listening to voice recordings made by the healthcare professionals you work for and transcribing them into valuable, written reports. This could cover notes from operations, emergency room visits, diagnostic imagine studies, reviews of patient charts and summaries of healthcare visits. You prepare them and then submit to the physician for approval.
In this role you would likely work within a hospital or doctor’s office.

Office Manager

If you are eager to take on responsibility, are proficient at customer care and have a terrific rapport with colleagues, once skilled at the duties within the medical office administration position, you’re ready to take on a role in management. Your essential job responsibilities are the same as an administrator, but in this position, you may also hire and train employees, ensure the office is following regulatory practices and conduct staff meetings, and of course your patient care and service sets the example for your team.
