Anderson College’s Intra Oral Dental Assistant Program Offerings

Whether you choose to study at our Brampton, Hamilton, Kitchener, Mississauga, or North York campuses, or at our London or Windsor campuses, Anderson College’s Intra Oral Dental Assistant (Level I & II) programs are each designed to prepare you for a seamless transition into the dental profession.

For students at the Brampton, Hamilton, Kitchener, Mississauga, and North York campuses, the dental assistant program spans 51 weeks, including a 4-week practicum in a professional dental setting.

For those in London and Windsor, the intra oral dental assistant program runs 46 weeks, with 150 hours of practicum training built into the curriculum.
Both formats provide rigorous academic instruction, hands-on learning in fully-equipped dental clinics, and supervised practical experience in real-world dental offices.

Our Intra Oral Dental Assistant programs:

  • Are Healing Arts Radiation Protection (HARP) approved, enabling graduates to legally expose prescribed dental radiographs in Ontario.
  • Are specifically structured to prepare you for the National Dental Assisting Examining Board (NDAEB) certification exam, ensuring you meet national standards for competency.
  • Include a complimentary Ontario Dental Assistants Association (ODAA) membership, connecting you to a network of professionals and resources to support your career from day one.

Skills You Will Master in the Intra Oral Dental Assistant Program
