Highlighting Accounting and Payroll Administration

The Accounting and Payroll Administration program at Anderson College teaches students the day to day operations skills for this role. These include processing account receivables and payables, customer invoicing, account reconciliation, coordinating and delegating office tasks, and preparing operating budgets. As an Accounting and Payroll Administrator, students will work under the general supervision of accountants under established procedures, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies. Students will be learning a variety of accounting programs such as Sage 50, QuickBooks, Bookkeeping and Accounting, Payroll Compliance, Financial Analysis Control, and more.

During this program, Anderson College students will learn from experienced instructors, gain practical knowledge from real-life projects, gain teamwork and leadership skills from group projects, and become official members of the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA). With the completion of this program, our graduates have job opportunities as an accounting clerk, payroll administrator, budget and costing clerk, administrative assistant, benefits clerk, bookkeeper office manager, payroll specialist, and many other opportunities.
