Corinne Takes Career and Life to New Levels with Paralegal Studies

Attending Anderson College, is an experience one cannot simply forget. I remember the moment that it dawned on me to go back to school. I was off work at the time due to a work injury, which made me want to look for a more successful career path and potentially find more work opportunities that would not only fulfill my life but also elevate my skills in the workforce.

“I chose the Paralegal program, which had a one-year curriculum to complete.”

I chose the Paralegal program, which had a one-year curriculum to complete. I began in October 2022 and was excited to make new friends who had similar interests in the same field. Having teachers who knew what they were talking about really made a difference. I’d like to thank Ben Caniff, Mark Hooper, Carson Babich, Bryan Delorenzi, and Norbert Wenzel for being so patient with me and my classmates in the first few months of our program.

“I learned a lot of important information during my time at Anderson College. This knowledge helped me get my current job, which I have held for almost a year now.”

They worked with us throughout the rest of the program to give us the best experience, including field trips to the courthouse and in-class mock trials to give us a better understanding of how court would typically proceed, which was so beneficial.

I learned a lot of important information during my time at Anderson College. This knowledge helped me get my current job, which I have held for almost a year now. I work at the Collision Reporting Centre and collaborate with a traffic officer who helps me with daily legal knowledge of Provincial offences laws within our city.
