Why Did Kaye Choose a Career as a Personal Support Worker?

The desire to care for others has always been a cornerstone of my life. Witnessing the challenges faced by elderly relatives ignited a spark within me, propelling me towards a career in personal support work (PSW). Anderson College provided the ideal platform to nurture this passion and transform it into a fulfilling profession.

Without the love and support of my family, I would not have been able to achieve this milestone, especially to my professor Ms. Lindsey, who inspires us to become a great future Personal Support Worker. I was challenged to step outside my comfort zone, building resilience and empathy. How long does it take to complete a program at Anderson College?
Most diploma programs run 24–58 weeks of full-time study, depending on the discipline. Healthcare programs (PSW, Cardiology, MOA, Dental Assistant) typically include a clinical or work placement so you graduate job-ready.
What financial aid options are available?
