How Did I Discover Medical Esthetics as a Career Path?

My experience at Anderson College was amazing. My teachers were very passionate about their work and really helped me grow as a medical esthetician and succeed in learning about my career. With the experience of working at a medical spa during my work placement, I was able to gather the knowledge and skills to open my own business.

Though I had many obstacles in my life, such as having two life-threatening surgeries, working hard at my cleaning job every day, raising my children, and having to pick up my kids from school, I was still able to complete my two years of college. I was able to do so because of my kind teachers and supportive family.

How Did Instructor and Campus Support Change Everything for Me?

I want to give a special thank you to my instructor for always believing in me and helping me not only in my career but also emotionally – she was my biggest supporter. I also want to thank the Campus Director and our Student Services Coordinator for motivating me to stay in school when times got tough and for reminding me why I was in school in the first place. Although I am sad to be leaving such beautiful people and a great school, I am happy to say that because of them I am starting a new chapter in my life.
