Dental Assistant GraduatesI chose Anderson College to complete my education because I liked the accelerated program. I was thrilled about the hands-on training and comprehensive program they provide. It was a bonus when I realized they were close to my home. I would like to thank my faculty Joanne and all admin staff who supported me all the time during my study in college. I love my career as a dental assistant at the Winston Churchill Dental office. I began working after completing my placement. I have been so thankful to gain experience and learn and perfect my skills as a dental assistant.

Dental Assistant GraduatesI chose Anderson College because it provides excellent education. My classes were very convenient as they were from 8AM to 1PM. The faculty and staff were very helpful and are one of the major factors why I successfully completed my program. I decided to do volunteering in different dental clinics like Stouffville Dental Centre and Sun Dental Clinic which boosted my confidence. After applying at different clinics, I got accepted in Scarborough as a receptionist. After graduating, I then moved to Markham Heritage Health Clinic and started working as a dental assistant level II.

Dental Assistant GraduatesI chose Anderson because out of all the colleges I contacted, this one felt like home. I immediately got the sense that this school wanted to help me and help me succeed in taking on a brand new and scary career change. Any question or concern I had, the staff at Anderson were always ready and willing to answer them and guide me along the way. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Joanne, my instructor. She was not only an instructor, but also a mentor, friend, and a warm motherly figure that you could talk to about anything, whether its was about school or personal matters. She made sure to keep classes entertaining and fresh and really helped apply theory to the practical side of the course. Every single day, we would laugh, joke and have a good time and I think I can speak for my class, she made coming to school fun. I made some of the best friends through this program and I am eternally grateful. The Admin team, Vera and Patricia Lynn, are angels and were always welcoming and willing to help us with anything. I cannot say enough good things about this college, the staff, the program, the atmosphere. It was simply the best decision I could have made. I was working at a clinic during school from April until August and, I made the decision to go to another clinic that I felt fit me more. So far, so good! I feel with the experience I have, I will go on to do great things and I owe it to Joanne and Anderson College.

Dental Assistant GraduatesI chose Anderson College because of my friends’ recommendation, so I decided to take the Intra Oral Dental Assistant program. The thing that I like the most about my program is taking X-rays. It’s challenging me, and I like to have a better understanding of what is happening in a patient’s mouth. The faculty and staff are friendly, and I especially liked my clinical instructor because she taught us how to be successful dental assistants. I graduated as a dental assistant last January, and now I finally found a job at Waterview Dental Clinic downtown. I’m really proud of myself that after a year of struggle in school, I have now finished my program, graduated, and have a job. Thanks to Anderson College for helping us pursue our dreams here in Canada.
