Celebrating 140 Years of Dreams – Anderson Connect

This month marks a historic and heartfelt moment in Anderson College’s journey – 140 years of making dreams come true. Since 1885, students just like you have stepped through our doors with hope in their hearts and the courage to pursue a career, a life, that is more extraordinary, that serves their communities and enriches their families. Today, we celebrate not only our past, but you; you bring this legacy to life. This month’s Connect is dedicated to the wishes you hold, and the dreams that, every day, with your dedication, hard work and perseverance, are coming true! You make what we do possible.

As you may know, to commemorate this milestone, we’ve partnered with Make-A-Wish® Canada to make even more dreams a reality. Together, our goal is to raise $10,000 in support of children whose wishes deserve to come true too. We sincerely hope you and your families will be joining us June 20 at 11:00 a.m. at your campus, for a time of community and celebration with refreshments, food and fun. A Thought to Ponder

Dreams are not revealed all at once. They show up in hints, whisperings and inklings, in the encouragement of a mentor, the quiet moment when you realize: “Yes, this is what I’m passionate about; this is what I feel called to pursue.” At Anderson, we believe in following those dreams with both head and heart. And now, 140 years later, we stand in awe of every student who has dared to imagine more. We stand in awe of you. This month look around the halls, your classroom and see the fellow dreamers in your midst. Together you are making our communities, our country, a better place. And a High-5 may even be in order! 😊
