Bittersweet – Breanna Sad to Leave but Thrilled to Launch as a Paralegal

Each year, in the spirit of celebrating the diverse and powerful experiences of our students, we run a story contest. Again in 2024, the response was awe inspiring, with over 150 submissions.

The first time I attended college, it was the typical experience you’d expect: large lecture halls, endless nights of studying, and an overall feeling of “get me out of here!” At Anderson, this was the complete opposite. As I near the end of my program in paralegal studies, I feel saddened that I will no longer walk into the classroom to be greeted by my peers and wonderful instructors.

The atmosphere and education you receive at Anderson are incomparable. It is a much more personal experience, and I found my instructors to be incredibly supportive, engaging, and truly invested in the success of their students.

I cannot thank them enough for their endless devotion to us students. They inspired us daily, knowing that just a few years ago, they were in our exact position and have conquered so much in such a short amount of time since their graduation.
