Why Did I Choose the PSW Program in Canada?

My urge to learn and gain better opportunities is the reason I considered studying again. I chose the Personal Support Worker (PSW) program because this job is in demand within Canada. I believe it’s fair to say that my career evolved gradually when I began my academic journey here at Anderson College.

What Was My Learning Experience Like at Anderson College?

My path didn’t really follow the traditional route of learning, rather it led me to a comprehensive manner of education and training. Instructors, especially Ms. A taught us to dream bigger and not be afraid of going beyond our limits. My sister is a registered nurse in the Philippines and never failed to guide and walk me through my journey here at Anderson College with pieces of advice that are useful, inspirational, and motivational.

What Made Me Feel Welcome and Supported on Campus?

My most vivid memory of Anderson College’s excellence in academic and skills tutelage was the look that I saw on their faces as I enter the campus premises. A bright smile, bestowing the approval of how notably fitting and effective this institution is in terms of its efficiency and competence, allowing me to maximize my potential and helping me utilize my skills to the fullest.

How Did the PSW Program Build My Confidence?

As such, I believe I will bring about a remarkable upswing in my proficiency. The PSW program gives me the chance to provide professional assistance to those who are in dire need of help. I am also happy to apply and practice my learned skills to help and support people. Despite historic, and linguistic differences and distinct Asian nationalities being treated similarly around the world, I never felt outcasted at all during my stay here at Anderson College.
