Becoming A Medical Lab Technician Changed Her Life

Becoming A Medical Lab Technician Changed Her Life

It all started with a visit to Anderson. Read Maryam’s journey, written in her own words.

Medical Laboratory technician programStudying in college was one of the “biggest life changers” I have ever experienced. This whole new atmosphere, meeting with new people, and starting a new life, all made me feel quite nervous from the beginning.

From the first day of school, the college has been such a pleasant surprise for me, and I am loving it. The teaching at Anderson College is great. The teachers and staff helped me become more independent and helped me to develop my individual goals.

Time management and organization were important skills that I learned at Anderson College. I learned quickly that I must be organized to keep track of my time, especially as an adult who has to share her education time with a busy day-to-day job and life at home.

“The greatest part of studying at Anderson College was to have the opportunity to learn new life-changing skills in the Medical Laboratory field.”

Besides all, the greatest part of studying at Anderson College was to have the opportunity to learn new life-changing skills in the Medical Laboratory field, which I always wanted to be part of. Studying at Anderson College was not preparation for life; it was life itself. I wish the best to all the staff of Anderson College.
