Practical Business Training Gave Angelita the Edge She Needed

Making the decision to study in Canada was hard, especially as a mom of a three-year-old whom I left in the Philippines to pursue my dreams for my daughter. The challenges were immense, but the desire to secure a better future was stronger. It was hard the moment I enrolled in this University and harder when I stepped my feet in the airport. At Anderson College, the curriculum was designed not only to impart knowledge but to equip students with practical skills essential in the real world.

As a single mother in Canada, balancing studies with parenting responsibilities was quite challenging and stressful on my part because I have to balance my time in Canada versus my time with my daughter who is now in the Philippines. This empowerment through education was the first step towards transforming my life.

“My time at Anderson College gave me the confidence and skills to pursue my dreams of becoming a successful businesswoman.”

My time at Anderson College gave me the confidence and skills to pursue my dreams of becoming a successful businesswoman. The education I received has laid a solid foundation, but more importantly, it has instilled in me the belief that I can achieve anything I set my mind to. I now envision a future where I can provide for my child, not just in terms of financial security, but by being a role model of determination and success.

Continuing my journey, I carry with me the lessons learned and the belief that anything is possible with hard work and determination, especially for a single mom with big dreams.
