The job shifts day-to-day, and challenges arise that are foreseen and unforeseen, your ability to assess, analyze, and apply your operational knowledge and business savvy toward solving the issues at hand will build credibility with your colleagues and the customers you serve.

3. A Cool Head to in a Crisis

In dealing with split-second decisions and problems that arise, you are not only assessed by your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve a crisis, but on how you keep your cool in the process. Often it is the person who is responding and proactively dealing with, not reacting to, a situation who prevails.

4. Big-Picture Thinker

The ability to succeed in this profession depends on your ability to visualize and anticipate the processes from beginning to end.
